June round-up: automations, payslips by email and bank matching
Automations start doing the work on their own, payroll gets ready for the new financial year, and accounting gains reconciliation matching and recurring invoices that send themselves.
Build a rule once and Mployr acts on it. Triggers come from across the app - new leads, stage changes, won and lost deals, invoices, payments, bills, timesheets, leave, projects, people, performance and support.
Each rule can have conditions and a chain of actions, such as creating an activity with a due date or waiting before the next step.
Email every payslip in a pay run at once - each employee gets a link to view and download theirs - or download the whole run as a ZIP of PDFs.
A finalised pay run produces an ABA bank file, checks for missing bank details first, and lets you choose the account it pays from.
The Reconcile tab lists every unreconciled line and suggests the best match for each, and Auto-match matches the rest. Matching a line reconciles it.
Choose whether each generated invoice is saved as a draft, approved, or approved, issued and emailed. Recurring invoices and bills gain a 4-weekly frequency, and when the start date is in the past you choose whether to skip or create the missed periods.
Connect Microsoft on an email account and Mployr sends through it, so payslips, invoices and campaigns go out from the business's own address. Campaigns support sending domains, a suppression list and retrying individual recipients.
Ready for 1 July 2026
The new minimum wage, the 2026-27 PAYG tax tables and the CPI increases to award expense allowances were all loaded before the new financial year.
Junior and apprentice rates are now worked out automatically, including apprentice rate tables for 22 awards.
Also new
Payroll: Mark a public holiday as worked without a timesheet. Casuals show their average hours instead of a set 38. Pay runs warn about pending timesheets and leave, and payslips show the leave taken in the period.
Notifications: Turn each kind of notification on or off from Settings > Communications.
CRM: Activities get a status, quick due-date presets and Mark Complete and Add New. A Lead Conversion card shows conversion over time, and lead and order lines carry an income account and a GST code.
Rosters: Shifts can be generated automatically from roster patterns, with a switch to stop notifying staff about them.
Engagement: Build, duplicate and send staff surveys.
Help Centre: Full-text search, a contents list on each guide, feedback, and print and share.
