Xero pay runs sent once, overtime averaging, and daily time totals
Pay runs reach Xero once they're final and never twice, averaged hours balance a heavy week against a quiet one, and time tracking shows a total for every day.
A pay run is sent to Xero once it's final, and never twice. The pay calendar has to match, and nothing imports from Xero until you switch it on.
Averaged hours balance a heavy week against a quiet one, and overtime after a long day now applies to permanent staff as well as casuals.
Time tracking shows a total for every day, and the timer's task picker can search and group. My Profile shows tracked and billable time as a share of time worked, against the target due so far.
A calendar item can also be marked as billable work.
Also new
Awards: Award arrangements live in the Payroll menu and on both profiles, and employees can find their own.
Insurance: Archive a finished policy, and drag files straight onto a policy. A lapsed policy stops showing as active.
People: A group can be marked private.
Improvements
Accounting: Activity statements say which form they are and what the period hasn't counted yet. PAYG withholding runs on its own cycle.
People: A manager sees the staff directory, and their reach into bank and super details stops at their own team.
Plans: Roles, permissions and modules are on every plan, Free included.
Everywhere: Count badges show the real numbers.
