August round-up: My Mailbox, e-signatures and People > Contractors
Email moves into Mployr, records can be sent for signature, contractors get their own register, and payroll and accounting gain the rules and reports an Australian business needs.
My Mailbox
Read and send email inside Mployr, with one inbox across your Microsoft 365 and IMAP accounts - threads, folders, reply, reply-all, forward and inline images, with remote images blocked until you choose to show them.
Outlook events show on My Calendar and you choose which calendars sync. A mailbox can be shared with a group of users.
Send documents, forms, health and safety records, award arrangements and quotes for signature, and everyone gets a sealed, signed PDF. The Signatures page tracks what's outstanding, signed, declined and expired.
A signed quote accepts itself and becomes an order.
A register for everyone you engage rather than employ, recording the entity they trade as (ABN, ACN). Contractors are paid through bills rather than payslips, with any super accrued from the bill, and they get self-service onboarding that asks contractor questions.
My Day
My Profile builds an AI plan for your day from your calendar, mail, tasks, shift and leave. It also gains a productivity card, and you can arrange its cards however you like.
Mark which awards apply to your business, and award-specific screens - such as rostered day off banks that accrue and pay out banked hours - appear only where they apply.
Each employee gets their own state's public holidays, bonuses and back pay are withheld using the ATO's Schedule 5 method, time-of-day penalties are listed separately on payslips, and timesheets can be approved day by day. A Payroll Compliance page holds the record-keeping downloads.
Accounting reports add a comparative profit and loss, profit and loss by job or site, cash flow, aged receivables and payables as at any date, and the Taxable Payments Annual Report.
Paying a supplier who hasn't quoted an ABN withholds 47%, with the payment summary and annual report to match. The BAS uses the ATO's labels and shows PAYG instalments, journal entries get their own page, and invoice lines can bill a service as well as a product.
